London Luton Airport has agreed a 5 year deal for the use of theClickAirport Activity Manager Suite and associated services as part of a strategy to roll out mobile computing facilities to front lineduties across the airport. The programme will benefit from a common platform to configure and manage the mobile services.
The system has been in use for a year to support the control of wildlife hazards out on the airfield. Reflecting on the success of theprogramme to date Andy Harrison, Operations Director, said “LondonLuton want to use the ClickAirport implementation as a model for future deployments of new technology”.

ClickAirport, who have been synonymous with mobile computing in managing airfield hazards for some time, launched their Activity Manager Suite formally at ACI Europe, Nice in June 2004.
