Clickairport addresses NAFPI Conference

In July 2004, ClickAirport presented how they have been helping civilian and military aerodromes build a more accurate picture of Foreign Object Debris sources and investigate their causal factors. The25th National Aerospace FOD Conference in Atlanta, GA was hosted by NAFPI (National Aerospace FOD Prevention Initiative, Inc) and brought together the latest concepts and case studies from around the world.

ClickAirport focussed their presentation on the benefits of mobile computing for airfield FOD management and the role of information in abroad FOD Prevention programme. The presentation showed how it is not only large civilian airports who can build a business case for investment in information technology on the airfield. Military airbases and Civilian aerodromes with fewer air traffic movements and airfield staff especially need the latest information tools to help users gather large amounts of quality data and piece together the evidence to accurately identify causal factors of surface debris.
