The Accident & Incident module enables accurate details of an accident or incident to be captured at the scene. Details are entered via hand-held terminals, using a structured checklist to ensure compliance with best practice & industry regulation.

This information is distributed as necessary to team members, facilitating the investigation through to closure.

Investigate and Report
An Incident log is created when the record is downloaded to the database Incident logs can also be opened in the web application by authorised staff.

Users defined in the notification groups receive email, fax and/or SMS notices, according to the severity of the incident. Throughout the investigation severity, categorisation and prioritisation logic is applied; evidence collated in free text, pictorial and document formats; and reports compiled into the appropriate form templates, from local airside hazard reports through to full MOR's (Mandatory Occurrence Reporting). Where appropriate, time counters keep track of mandatory deadlines for issuing of reports.

Changes to any data are tracked with an auditable log, and the investigation can be represented against a timeline. Investigations may lead to penalty or non-compliance notices being issued as a result of investigations.

Share and Learn
Incident logs are compiled into archived reports. The data contained within the reports can be interrogated with search and analysis tools. Any risk reduction measures and lessons arising are documented within cases on closure.
